The document known as Anonymus dialogus cum Iudaeis (hereafter referred to as
ADI), an originally Greek work, was previously known only in Georgian and Armenian
translations. Jose H. Declerck found a twelfth or thirteenth century copy of the Greek
original, which was composed in the mid-sixth century. In 1994 Declerck published a
critical edition of the dialog in Corpus Christianorum Series Graeca, vol. 30, along with
an excellent introduction. Ground has been broken in the twentieth century for the study
of adversus-Joudaeos dialogs by some important general studies, which have prepared
the way for studies of individual dialogs.
