Andrew Taylor Still affirmait, dans son livre Philosophie et principes mécaniques de l’ostéopathie, que les lymphatiques sont presque l’âme indispensable au corps, que le système lymphatique est total et universel dans tout le corps et que lorsque nous nous adressons aux lymphatiques, nous touchons à la source de la vie et de la mort. Ce livre est la traduction française du livre de Charles Owens, présentée en anglais et en français. Il permettra d’être lu par le plus grand nombre afin de rendre hommage à Frank Chapman pour son énorme travail sur les lymphatiques et les centres-réflexes, et par conséquent sur tout le système immunitaire.

In its entirety, the lymphatic system is universal and when we refer to it, we address the source of life and death. On such statements, it was obvious that A.T. Still’s work had to be pursued. Thanks to Franck Chapman, it was the case. His writings were published after he died, in 1930, by his brother-in-law, Charles Owens D.O. but unfortunately were badly received by the profession.
