The publication of this book makes available once more the important work carried out by the Swedish archaeologist Sigvald Linne (1899-1986) on the site of Xolalpan, part of the Teotihuacan complex in Mexico. Originally published in 1934, and now with a new foreword by Staffan Brunius and an introduction by George L Cowgill, Linne's account of the excavation and finds was one of the first investigations in this field to examine a domestic residence away from the major pyramids which had been the focus of so much attention.
