Working together kindles a fiery attraction and steamy love scenes, but romance stalls as both think themselves unworthy of love. The characters are appealingly vulnerable, though the dialogue is occasionally awkward. The story also ties up overarching plot threads from previous entries, and while fans won't be disappointed, new readers may have trouble following the action.
