Here is a book about Robert Burns, about his songs, about history, about politics, about love and loss. Part biography, part songbook, it is for the general reader who wants to learn about the Scottish poet, and for the ukulele player who want to play these beautiful, old Scottish tunes. Burns' life and times are explored through his most famous songs. Fifteen full texts are included, with commentary and analysis: e.g. "Tam o'Shanter", "My Luve is Like a Red, Red Rose", "Auld Lang Syne", "Green Grow the Rashes O", "Ae Fond Kiss", and "Scots Wha Hae".
