This book is intended for experienced cavers: the information in it is incomplete and may be inaccurate.
Caving can be dangerous. Most caves contain drops and loose rock. Accidents occurring underground are compounded by the inability for conventional rescue to take place. An injured person could wait several days for help to arrive. At present there is no cave rescue organization based in the Canadian Rockies.
It is also assumed that the reader is fully conversant with alpine travel and the use of climbing equipment needed to access the caves.
