Corporate Social Responsibility Corporate Restructuring And Firms Performance Empirical Evidence From Chinese Enterprises Liangrong Zu by Liangrong Zu 9781576102114, 1576102114 instant download after payment.

This book is a revised, expanded, and updated version of the thesis submitted for the degree of Ph.D. from the Nottingham University Business School in 2006. The book attempts to synthesize some of important and relevant research studies in CSR and relationship between CSR and financial performance, but its focus is on socially responsible performance and financial performance in the context of China’s enterprise restructuring, and to present the results in a straightforward and pragmatic manners. But I also incorporated theoretical research that has some relevance to the study. The objectives of the book are to first raise awareness of CSR among executives and managers in China, and particularly, to provide convincing rationale for the executives and managers to adopt socially responsible practices, assist nonshareholders in their battle against corporate decisions that ignore social
stakeholder interests, and especially contribute to the academic arguments claiming that a broad “stakeholder theory” is better than shareholder theory.
