An overview of various British and American English dialectal differences, including regional variations.  The work is In English, with a Russian introduction. Cites many sources and makes some interesting observations.
Translated from original Russian description: This manual is intended for senior students of the Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication as a source of additional information on the discipline “English in its national varieties.” The purpose of studying the discipline is to consider and classify the varieties of English in the world, study their phonetic, grammatical, lexical and phraseological features, to establish similar and distinctive features in relation to the English language of Great Britain. The purpose of the manual is to systematize the material on the problem under consideration and to acquaint students with the features of the American version of the English language, its differences from the British version. Differences are considered in such aspects of the language as spelling, phonetics, grammar and vocabulary.
Book is not OCRed, so cannot be copy-pasted from (and is fuzzy/piixelated enough that OCR would probably not be very successful).
