Each survivor is monitored for their genetic potential and given nanite implants to aid their progress. As a final test 1000 men are given a quest to become the Humano-Primus. It is a race to the finish line, and there can be only 5 Primes who will decide their own fates. With their seed, they will become the new Adam to their Eves. If they die, their genetics will be demoted and forgotten. The test will require them to enhance their evolution and nano-compatibility.
The violent pilgrimage will end in sending off pods to rest of the galaxy– ensuring that humans are never again at risk of extinction.
