Gastrointestinal Imaging Case Review Case Review Series 3rd Edition Vincent Hs Low Franzcr by Vincent H:s Low Franzcr 9780323087216, 0323087213 instant download after payment.

Gastrointestinal imaging is considered by many, especially those of us in the specialty, to be the oldest of the specialities within radiology. Roentgen made his great discovery in 1895. Within a few months, pioneers began using the technology to observe gastrointestinal motility using ingested opaque materials suchas liquid bismuth and beads of various materials. A lot has changed since then.
Almost all the cases in this book have been updated to reflect the changing trends in gastrointestinal imaging. A shift has occurred with a decline in the indications for barium studies and increasing reliance on cross-sectional techniques for making diagnoses. Cases have been updated to reflect this change in practice. However, modern radiologists need to maintain the skills to interpret basic radiology signs; this is also reflected in the cases presented in this edition. Fluoroscopy also remains a valuable diagnostic tool. Thereare conditions unique to gastrointestinal imaging in which fluoroscopy can most effectively and efficiently assist in making the diagnosis.I have approached this book with the realization that it will be in the hands of trainees as they prepare for their oral board examinations. I have recalled all the lessons gifted to me by my teachers, and I have reflected on the feedback from all my trainees.
