This issue of Women in Management Review is dedicated to a selection of papers that were presented at the ‘Gender and Management’ track at the British Academy of Management Conference (BAM), held at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast in association with Queens University Belfast and the University of Ulster, September 2006. Although the topics of these five papers are diverse, some recurrent themes are evident and there are areas of overlap.
