Let me tell you, Twisted was a monster to write.  Take Aden Stone and the three souls trapped inside his head - each with an ability of their own, like predicting the future, raising the dead and possessing other human bodies--add in Victoria, a vampire princess who saved his life . . . only to possibly lose her own, as well as Mary Ann, a human far more powerful than the witches and fairies hunting her, and Riley, a sexy werewolf shapeshifter whose loyalties are about to be tested, and you've got an adventure that nearly killed me.   
Okay, okay.  Perhaps I'm exaggerating just a wee bit.  But this book was difficult to write. There's a darkness inside of Aden, and that darkness is growing . . . overtaking him.  He's becoming an indestructible vampire, while his girlfriend is becoming a vulnerable human.  Talk about a cruel twist of fate!  (Yes.  I went there.)
On the other end of the spectrum, Mary Ann is on the run and dangerous to everyone she encounters.  Riley is hot on her heels, and determined to protect this girl he's falling in love with.  But.  There's always a "but" with me, isn't there?  Along the way, secrets are uncovered, old enemies resurface, and vicious battles are fought.  And the outcome isn't what anyone expects.
Because I'm, what?  Twisted.  (Yep.  I went there again.)

But he didn't stop coming, and she didn't stop retreating, and finally her back was pressed into a thick three trunk.  She didn't know this Aden, and didn't know how he'd react to the things she did and said.  Then he flattened his hands at her temples, his body brushing against hers and making her gasp, and she didn't know anything at all. He'd caged her in, surrounded her, becoming the center of her world.
