The book is divided into 16 chapters and is intended for students, researchers, and professionals working on various aspects of water engineering, hydrology, and irrigation. An honest effort has been made to check the scientific validity and justification of each chapter through several iterations. We, the authors and the publisher, have put together a comprehensive reference for students of water, hydrology, and irrigation engineering with a belief that this book will be of immense use to present and future colleagues who teach, study, and/or practice in this particular field.
