吳錦教授，是第一位獲得中西醫結合醫學博士學位的西醫。長期從事中西醫結合治療疑難病症及癌症的臨床工作和中西醫結合研究工作。曾任中國衞生部臨床藥理基地主任，原中國醫研究院（現中國中醫科學院）教授，現為香港大學中醫藥學院榮譽教授。致力於中醫藥治療疑難疾病、中醫藥治癌的研究。
