Blake is an avid Small holder / Homesteader from necessity. Over the years He has traveled around the world and as He says, " I have seen many wondrous things" Blake is from Milton Fl, and lived for a number of years in Lipscomb Al. Blake also spent time on the family farm as a child, in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains. When he was totally wiped out in a divorce he went back to his roots, gardening, hunting, and fishing. At one time Blake was living on a 117 dollars a month, that came from VA disability. 1st not having money for "needed" items and 2nd the unwillingness to buy what he could produce or build himself, he said he saved a ton of cash. The Foxhole Homestead will ultimately have over 50 articles / E booklets on how to build with what ever you may have, or can scrounge with Alley picking. He dehydrates, can's, makes wines, vinegars, jams, jellies, pickles, sauces, and relishes all from scratch with the excess produce and fruit from his "farm". Also he will trade or barter excess from his farm. He got most of his live stock from trade/barter. He raises rabbits, chickens, and ducks. There are also goats and dogs on the farm. Not keeping a TV has let his imagination run free and Blake has started a series of alternative histories. He can also be found on Facebook. Blake currently resides in South central Mo.
