This book covers a great variety of magnetic phenomena. In fact, I don't think there is any other kind of phenomenon left out. So the variety is not just many variations on a theme. Yes there are inspired variariations -- but on several themes. But also some other phenomena most folks don't cover. The book does better than the video in explaining the magnetic mechanistics. I find it all 100% accessible, but I know alot about magnetism already. If only I could be sure that enough background was given for the magnetics novice to understand the explanations given, then I'd go to the 5th star.
