32 reviewsLike volume 6 in the Collected Works series, Philosophical and Theological Papers ig$8-if)64, this volume parallels the better known 'Collections' of Lonergan papers that have enriched students for many years. In this particular anthology, we gather a number of papers that reveal the 'later' Lonergan. These papers document his development in philosophy and theology during the years leading up to the publication of Method in Theology, and beyond to 1980, when he was more engaged in his writings and seminars on macroeconomics. Some of the papers in this volume have been published elsewhere but are included here, with editorial notes, because of the exigencies of Collected Works. Again, some of these papers were published only posthumously, and indeed one very important piece ('Philosophy and the Religious Phenomenon') was discovered by the General Editors only after Lonergan's death.
