Proclus the Successor was a fifth-century Greek Neoplatonist philosopher and the last major ancient Greek philosopher. He set forth one of the most elaborate and fully developed systems of Neoplatonism. Like Iamblichus, Proclus opposed Christianity and passionately defended paganism.
