Many have questioned the validity of Einstein's Special and General Theories of Relativity as well as the fundamental concepts of Quantum Mechanics.  But it is not enough to point to problems with the theories.  A viable alternative is required.

This book represents a viable alternative paradigm.  It is based on classical physics including the fundamental principles of absolute time and three dimensional Euclidean space.  It proposes a novel theory called the Local-Ether Model and a corollary theory called Quantum Electromagnetics.  Together, they present a comprehensive, unified, qualitative, and quantitative description of the fundamental phenomena of electromagnetic, gravitational, and quantum physics.

The Local-Ether Model proposes that there is a medium for the propagation of electromagnetic waves that has properties similar to the gravitational potential:  It forms a variable density halo of finite size around each celestial body that moves with the body but don't rotate with it.  From this postulate, electromagnetic phenomena are simply and quantitatively accounted for without involving Einstein's Relativity.  They include the one-way linear Sagnac effect and the apparently null results of Michelson-Morley type experiments.

The Quantum Electromagnetics theory presents a quantum mechanical approach to account for additional phenomena under the framework of the Local-Ether Model.  They include the dependence of mass on speed, the dependence of atomic clock rate on speed and gravitational potential, gravitational lensing, gravitational redshift, and the Shapiro delay. The theory also addresses the Ives-Stilwell and Davisson-Germer experiments, the Compton Effect, neutron interferometry, and many other phenomena.
