The book is divided into four folders that Ross finds on his great-uncle's old laptop. The first folder seems to be a kind of scrapbook of Mike's early life and the smaller folders in it have all kinds of unusual titles. As he digs into them, he finds that each one is about something Mike learned about life, about himself, etc. It's also where we learn what "chutzma" means. The second folder is a little later in his great-uncle's life, when Mike is looking more toward understanding and leveraging his understanding of human behavior.
