12 year old Gabriel King lives in the sleepy town of Forest Hills. Since a brush with death on Thanksgiving dinner a couple of years ago, he developed an unnatural fear of vegetables. Now he avoids them at all costs, too embarrassed to let anyone know his secret. One afternoon he accidentally stumbles into an alternate dimension featuring a run-down version of his town.
