She is also a research assistant in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Department at Ohio State University. Dutson holds a master’s degree in behavior genetics from the University of Connecticut. She is the author of Horse Breeds of North America and Storey’s Illustrated Guide to 96 Horse Breeds of North America.
