A self-taught painter and poet, Tang Chang (1934-1990) was born within a Chinese family in Bangkok. Drawing his own trajectory, he deviates from the models fashioned after Western modernism that then dominate the Thai art world. At the heart of his practice lies a concept derived from Taoism and Chan Buddhism: the undifferentiated unity of multiplicities.0The exhibition brings together for the first time in France key pieces of the artist and unpublished sources dating backing from the 1960s to the 1980s.
