Authors Details:

Erna Becker-Kohen (1906 – 1987), was a German Catholic of Jewish heritage, who survived while on the run in Hitler's Third Reich and who wrote the original diary in German. Esther-Maria Nägele is the granddaughter of Erna Becker-Kohen and studied geography at the University of Cologne Germany, and supplied the original diary and photographs from that period as used in the book. Editor and Translator Martina Cucchiara is Assistant Professor of History at Bluffton University in Ohio, America. Editor and Translator Kevin P. Spicer C.S.C., is a Distinguished Professor of History at Stonehill College.
