6 reviewsThe Kennedy Trilogy is a political thriller series based on the three major crises of the Kennedy era—Berlin, 1961; Cuba, 1962; and Dallas, 1963—as witnessed factually in the Oval Office and fictionally by a young CIA agent. The complete edition contains all three books:
The Kennedy Imperative (Berlin, 1961): In this exciting political thriller, factual events are interwoven in an exciting fictional plot. While the construction of the Berlin Wall challenges JFK with the first major crisis of his presidency, young CIA agent Philip Marsden is sent into East Berlin on his first mission. While the tanks face off at Checkpoint Charlie, he uncovers the difficult truth about his Russian-born mother.
The Kennedy Momentum (Cuba, 1962): The Cold War reaches its zenith with the installation of Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba threatening the United States. While JFK and his brother face deep divisions in trying to defuse the apocalyptic crisis, young CIA agent Philip Marsden is sent on a mission to the island where he is betrayed by a joint CIA-Mafia operation.
The Kennedy Revelation (Dallas, 1963): In the immediate aftermath of the JFK assassination, the shock is multiplied for young CIA agent Philip Marsden when he learns of the death of his Cuban American wife. As evidence builds and the threats begin to mount, he discovers that the two tragedies might not be unrelated.

Review"I do congratulate you on how seamlessly the fiction and the documentary works. The conversations between Jack and Bobby are always absolutely convincing, and the historical context - always complex - is made clear without ever stopping the story, in fact the books just read very well with a great thrust forward. I really like the fictional characters you've created - they are all interesting and real." H. Krosnick
"All of the real people in this story are brilliantly drawn and clearly based on serious research on the part of the author. The fictional characters are equally alive and fully human. This is no simple cloak-and-dagger thriller: it's a story of a crazy situation set in a crazy world where truth and fiction mingle until you can't tell which is more terrifying. A fun and informative read. Highly recommended for both true Kennedy buffs and casual beach readers and everyone in between." JB
50 YEARS TO RESEARCH, 1 YEAR TO WRITE!
After countless books, movies and documentaries on the subject of JFK, what's different about THE KENNEDY TRILOGY? Well, it's neither dry analysis nor sensationalist pulp. Instead, I deliberately selected the genre of political thriller as a way to offer an intelligent, compelling read which would both inform and entertain in equal measure.
At the high end, we're inside the Kennedy White House with realistic portraits of Jack, Bobby and their deeply divided administration. At ground level, we're entwined in the espionage intrigue of our ongoing protagonist, the young CIA agent Philip Marsden, a low-grade analyst thrust into the geopolitical vortex, first in Berlin, then Cuba, and finally, inevitably, in Dallas.
In fact, the saga of JFK was my first introduction to a lifelong interest in geopolitics. I first began reading daily newspapers during the Berlin Crisis when the tanks stood facing each other at Checkpoint Charlie. Then came the Cuba Missile Crisis when we all came close to Armageddon. Finally, of course, there was great tragedy of the assassination.
From that point, I read everything I could on Kennedy and have been doing so ever since. I doubt there's a book on the subject I haven't read, a video I haven't seen, or a conspiracy theory I haven't heard. Yet the substance of these books remains my own original work, with conclusions developed over half a century.
I guarantee you will be totally absorbed.
