Q wird als stringenter theologischer Entwurf von judischen Jesusjungern vorgestellt, in dem die Entwicklung des Fruhchristentums aus dem Fruhjudentum ebenso erkennbar wird, wie Ruckschlusse auf das ursprungliche Anliegen Jesu moglich erscheinen. Damit wird Q zum doppelten missing link - zwischen Judentum und Christentum ebenso wie zwischen Jesus und der Kirche.
