These are the COMPLETE Liber 418 Algerian notebooks in five volumes, suitable for printing.
Each is one notebook volume except for Volume V, which has Notebook V and VI since Notebook VI only contains LIL and some ephemera.
It is presented in a side-by-side format with original notebook image and a line-by-line transcription of same. Character notations and crossouts/corrections present in the notebooks are presented, and any volume-specific notes are in a short preface.
These have no footnotes nor anything other than what is in the notebooks themselves - compare to your existing Weisers, original 1952 Germer editions, the Warburg annotated typescript, et cetera.
There are substantial changes/omissions, but it is not the place of this project to comment thereupon, just release them as even Crowley himself failed to do.
It is said four times "Change not the style of a letter", and this is what this volume attempts to do. Not even Crowley could resist doing so from the very first editions, and did not have the notebooks themselves during the later years.
