The Wilde Legacy Eilan N Chuilleanin by Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin 9781851826544, 1851826548 instant download after payment.

This book begins with the place where Oscar Wilde was born. Late in 1997, the house at No. 21 Westland Row, the first home of William and Jane Wilde, began a new phase of its existence. It had, like most of that side of the street, belonged to Trinity College for a number of years. Trinity's School of English was establishing a base for postgraduate teaching which had long needed a proper home. Studying for the Master's degree in Anglo-Irish Literature or for the new Master's in Creative Writing, students came from a variety of countries, and a variety of academic and non-academic backgrounds. The plaque on the facade commemorating the birth of Oscar on 16 October 1864 was joined by a neat wooden board in Irish and English announcing the Oscar Wilde Centre for Irish writing.
