90 reviewsGrade 4-6?Yet another of Paulsen's titles for adventure-oriented readers, like the "Tom Swift" books of old. Tag and his friend Cowboy spend their free time searching for treasure from sunken ships off the coast of Bermuda. They find themselves involved in drug dealings when two men ask them to locate a bag that fell to the bottom of the ocean. The boys try to determine how to give the bag to the authorities and keep themselves out of trouble?with the dealers as well as with some of the black magic groups on the island. As with other entries in the series, this book does not offer the strong characters and quality of plot development found in Paulsen's other writings. It does give information on diving, however, and might be of interest to youngsters wanting quick, exciting reads or reluctant readers who are hooked on the "Goosebumps" series (Scholastic) and need some variety.?Margaret C.
